Karen Gonsalkorale is a senior consultant who specialises in the application of behavioural insights to achieve results. Karen’s clients comment on her passion for making a difference, her practical focus and evidence based approach. Karen specialises in addressing unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, gender, intergenerational and cultural capability.
Karen has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney, published original works in international peer-reviewed journals, and presented at national and international forums including Behavioural Exchange. She has been recognised by the Association for Psychological Science as a ‘Rising Star in Psychology’, received the ‘Outstanding lecturer of the year award’ from the Australian Psychological Society, and received a prize from the European Journal of Social Psychology for her work on ostracism and intergroup attitudes. Karen’s work has featured in media in Australia: the Sydney Morning Herald, ABC, the Daily Telegraph and internationally including in: the Washington Post, the Guardian, Science Daily, the Times UK and many others.
Karen has completed a post doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Davis, holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of NSW. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
