Haddon Wright brings nearly 30 years’ stakeholder engagement expertise in challenging cross-cultural environments via his government, consultancy and capacity-development roles abroad. He has delivered strategic and change-management advice, legislative and policy review and reform, training and capacity development program design and implementation with counterpart senior executives and agencies in the former Yugoslavia, the Pacific, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Lao PDR, and Timor-Leste, working bilaterally or with regional and UN agencies.
He has developed academic course programs and content with the University of the South Pacific and RMIT Vietnam focussing on Regional Cooperation and Border Security, aimed at fostering strong leadership development, cross-cultural awareness, professional networks, and enabling integrated border management through institutional linkages. He has an enduring interest in intercultural communication and relationships, stemming from his postgraduate work in Mediterranean Ancient History and Archaeology, and in his spare time can be found ocean sailing somewhere in the Pacific. Haddon is one of Beasley Intercultural’s senior consultants delivering programs for the Department of Defence and the Australian Federal Police.
