Elizabeth Morris OAM
Elizabeth is an experienced senior consultant with in-depth and diverse international experience spanning the private, public and NGO sectors. She brings specialist expertise in collaborative strategic planning, partnership brokering and stakeholder relations, and capacity building. Elizabeth has extensive experience working across whole of government, in civil-military programmes, and in responding to crises.
Elizabeth has a strong interest in anti-slavery and human trafficking issues and is passionate about programmes that empower women and girls. Recent assignments include work with the Global Freedom Network and contributions to Hagar Australia and Hagar International programmes.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Monash University and is an alumnus of the National Security College (Australian National University). She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Organisation Change Management and a Bachelor of Arts. Elizabeth was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to victims and families following the Bali bombing in 2002, and awarded a Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal for her outstanding work during the aftermath of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
