Dr Kaye Eldridge

Dr Kaye Eldridge is School Manager of the School of Education at the University of Queensland and provides regular consultancy services for the Thai government's Ministry of Education. This followed an appointment as Executive Officer of the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy at the Australian National University.

Shortly after graduating from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Thai language, Dr Eldridge was awarded an Austrade fellowship to undertake market research in education in Thailand, where she remained living for the next ten years.
During her time in Thailand, Dr Eldridge worked in a variety of different capacities, mainly involved in education. This included work as marketing manager for a Thai international vocational college and as projects specialist with IDP Education Australia, where she was responsible for the management of IELTS testing and AusAID's Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development Program in Thailand.

Dr Eldridge also holds the degrees of Master of Education (International Education) from Monash University, and Doctor of Education from the University of Queensland. Her thesis examined the effect of cultural difference upon Thai and Australian university partnerships and her current research interests include international education, Thai culture and cross-cultural education management.
